Are you in a role to pass on the faith, but don't feel 100% prepared?
Introducing a new Certificate of Theology in Catechesis
This online program, offered through the University of Notre Dame Satellite Theological Education Program (STEP), consists of three courses that will prepare catechetical leaders, RCIA coordinators, catechists, youth ministers, and pastoral associates in their role to pass on the faith.
Both practical and theologically sound, participants will study the fundamentals of catechesis, meditate on the doctrines of the faith, and gain insight and understanding to be well-informed in the faith and grow in their own spiritual life.
Don't miss this opportunity!
The Diocese of Manchester has partnered with STEP so your investment is only $50 per course!
About the Informational Session
Mr. Thomas Cummings, director of STEP, will offer a talk called “Story, Meaning, and Doctrine” which will help him to introduce the three courses in the certificate program: Christian Doctrine for Catechists I, II, and III. After his talk, there will be time for participants to reflect and share, then Tom will introduce them to the web site for the courses and give them some practical hints about online learning and registering for the program.
